Damn straight we should “Monday morning quarterback” the police! We should be critical of all public services including government officials. That’s our duty as American citizens. We should be involved in these things, we should care, and if something is going on that is wrong we had better try to do something about it. If people are being wronged we shouldn’t sit by and watch we should do something orat least say something about it. Isn’t that what this country is about? We were being treated unfairly by those in a position of authority and wanted to change it. We rebeled and formed our own country. Our system was designed so that shouldnt happen again, people should be able to have the power to make change. We should be critical, it is our right. These people really piss me off because they are such hypocrites. They claim they are upholding the ideals our country was founded on but really they are against them. And unfortunately people like my grandparents simply take what they say at face value.Say What Now of the Day: On last night’s O’Reilly Factor, Bill O’Reilly and Fox News colleague Megyn Kelly discussed the recent pepper-spraying incident at UC Davis and concluded that it’s not right “to Monday-morning quarterback the police,” particularly at “a fairly liberal campus” like UC Davis, just because they sprayed some protesters with “a food product, essentially.”
Listen above to the entire u-rage-u-lose exchange, which comes hot on the heels of a new PublicMind poll from Fairleigh Dickinson University which found that people who regularly watch Fox News are less informed than people who don’t watch any news at all.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, yeah: Megyn Kelly’s “essentially” remark is already a meme.
