Santorum To Win This Thing With New Stance Against... →
caymanwent: axelssonkatt: So Barack Obama is in favor of greater access to college education (like most every other modern president before him), you say? There’s a sinister, political reason for that, according to dim dweeb Rick Santorum. Learning turns people liberal. “It’s no wonder President Obama wants every kid to go to college,” he told an audience in Florida. “The indoctrination...

Feeling emo today. I need to get over this nonsense. I feel like everyone is moving forward and I am standing still.

Is it weird to have dreams from a third person...
norweeg: How about the first person perspective of people other than yourself?  I keep having dreams like this, but I have never read or heard about other people having dreams like this. Happens all the time for both. I also have recurring dream places. For example before I went and did stuff at SeaWorld I dreamed about it. Even after I saw the real place when I would have dreams there it...

Jon Stewart
It’s pretty sad when the fake news show is the one that makes the most sense. The Daily Show is covering this ridiculous new provision of the National Defense Authorization Act that would allow the military to hold suspected terrorists indefinitely. (Until the war is over. The war on terror which will never ever be over) That’s pretty broad and very scary. Denying citizens due process?...

Ecology+The Matrix
I watched the matrix for the first time in a long time and realized I had a major problem with it. No, it’s not the matrix itself or the many plot holes within it. It’s that ecologically speaking there is no way the machines had enough to feed the humans without the sun. Even if they were taking advantage of some life form that utilized chemosynthesis I just don’t see them being...

The One Ring=Horcrux
Nov 14th
There is so much death in this world, and pain, and suffering. And it can be so outrageously unfair. Tonight a coworker died. She was in her late 30s and had already survived breast cancer. Last Thanksgiving she got sick, this time with brain cancer. Not married, no kids, but still with families, friends, and girls she coached in gymnastics that loved her. Society lets us believe that we are all...

Why do trains have to be so damn loud?
norweeg: Their horns don’t need to be anywhere near as loud as they are.  Only people at the crossing care.  No one else in town needs to hear the horn, but you can and do hear it wherever you are in Newark.   It’s obnoxious! because stupid people get hit by them. Like more than you think.
